  Steven Feinberg

  Owner

  Steve Feinberg CPA Owner Steve has been in the Accounting industry for over 30 years. He founded Appletree Business Services in 1988. After graduating from Bryant University majoring in both Accounting and Systems Management, Steve worked for Price Waterhouse for 8 years as an auditor and computer consultant before branching off on his own. He thrives on keeping the firm technologically on target and at least one step ahead of his clients.

  Paul Smythe CPA

  Accounting Manager

  Paul joined Appletree Business Services in November 2007. Paul earned degrees in Physics, Computer Science, and Accounting from Princeton University, State University of New York at Stony Brook, and Franklin Pierce College. His employment experience includes technical work in the software industry, business management in the masonry manufacturing industry, and tax work in the public accounting industry. Paul enjoys sports, outdoor activities, and travel with his wife and kids. When the weather is rotten he prefers to stay at home and play online casino all the day long.

  Karen Thompson EA

  Accounting Manager

  Karen graduated from Merrimack College with a Bachelors in Business Administration and Accounting. Prior to working with Appletree, Karen was the owner of her own online business for 15+ years, managing from 2-5 employees and handling all the bookkeeping, payroll, inventory, sales, marketing, sales tax etc. She has experienced, first hand, the issues facing many small business owners. Karen's personal passion is anything outdoors, finding that as means to unplug from technology and enjoy family time. She loves kayaking, camping, hiking, fishing and most anything that gets her out and about in nature.
